The AGC Beach Clean-Up was organised by the AGC Ecoteam a committee established recently, and is the committee's Go Green Initiative aimed at promoting environmental awareness at Chambers. Around 30 volunteers joined in and helped make the beach clean-up a success.

Whilst enjoying the great views of the Meragang beach, the clean-up initiative helped volunteers understand the importance of keeping our beaches clean and pristine, so others may enjoy its use. All waste collected were then deposited at designated public waste collection centres around the Brunei-Muara District. Recyclable wastes such as plastic bottles were also collected and sent to AGC's Recycling Depot. The AGC Ecoteam hopes to organise more initiatives that are fun and enjoyable such as the beach clean-up campaign, to further promote environmental awareness at Chambers more effectively.
