The Brunei Economic Development Board (BEDB) yesterday held an Award Ceremony for the ‘30 seconds Informercial' Competition at the iCentre, Anggerek Desa in conjunction with the World Intellectual Property Day. The Guest of Honour at the event was the Honourable Attorney General, Yang Berhormat Datin Seri Paduka Hajah Hayati binti POKSDSP Hj Mohd Salleh. The World IP Day is a global event celebrated every April 26th by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) to commemorate the importance of IP and the role it plays in our everyday life. On this occasion, Member States of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), including Brunei Darussalam, celebrate the World IP Day with activities around the globe to demonstrate how IP works in driving the technological innovation that helps shape our world.
