The Attorney General’s Chambers team emerged champion in a badminton tournament on Sunday, 28th August 2022.
The annual sports tournament organised for legal professionals, by the Law Society of Brunei Darussalam, returned after a two-year Covid-19 hiatus.
The other two teams competing were the Judiciary (Civil and Shariah) and the Private Practitioners.
Each team played in six categories: two men’s doubles, two women’s doubles, one mixed doubles, and one senior men’s doubles. The senior category players have a total combined age of 90 years and above.
AGC triumphed after defeating the Judiciary in all categories, and the Private Practitioners in all except one category.
The badminton tournament was held at JKR Sports Complex.
